8. Advertising

8.1 Google Ads (formerly AdWords)

Our site uses the features of Google Ads, and we hereby promote this site in Google search results, as well as on third-party sites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in the browser of your device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit.

In accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, you agreed to this through our opt-in cookie banner.

These processing operations are carried out only if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR. Further information and the privacy policy regarding advertising and Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/Google AdWords with conversion tracking

8.2 Google Ads with Conversion-Tracking

We have integrated Google AdWords on this website. Google AdWords is an Internet advertising service which allows advertisers to place advertisements both in Google's search engine results and in the Google advertising network. Google AdWords enables an advertiser to define in advance certain keywords through which an advertisement is then shown exclusively in Google's search engine results if the user retrieves a keyword-related search result with the search engine. In the Google advertising network the advertisements are distributed to subject-related websites by means of an automatic algorithm and with regard to previously defined keywords.

The company operating the Google AdWords services is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

The purpose of Google AdWords is to publicise our website by inserting interest-related advertising on the websites of third-party companies and in the search engine results of the Google search engine, and by inserting third-party advertising on our website.

If you access our website via a Google advertisement, Google stores a so-called conversion cookie on your IT system. A conversion cookie ceases to be valid after 30 days and is no longer used to identify you. The conversion cookie is used, provided it has not expired, to determine whether certain subpages, e.g. the shopping basket in an online shop system, were called up on our website. The conversion cookie enables both our company and Google to determine whether a user who accesses our website via an AdWords-advertisement generated a sale, i.e. purchased goods or stopped a purchase.

The data and information collected through use of the conversion-cookie are used by Google to compile visit statistics for our website. We then use these visit statistics to calculate the total number of users who were referred to us via AdWords advertisements, i.e. determine the success or failure of the respective AdWords advertisement, and to optimise our AdWords advertisements for the future. Neither our company nor other advertising customers of Google-AdWords receive information from Google through which you could be identified.

The conversion cookie is used to store personal information, e.g. the websites you have visited. During every visit to our website personal data, including the IP address of your utilised Internet connection, are therefore sent to Google in the USA. These personal data are stored by Google in the USA. Google may pass on these personal data collected by means of the technical process to third parties.

You can prevent cookies from being set by our website at any time by making a corresponding setting in the utilised browser software and therefore permanently object to setting of cookies. This setting in the utilised Internet browser would also prevent Google from setting a conversion cookie on your IT system. A cookie already set by Google AdWords may also be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.

You can also object to interest-related advertising by Google. For this purpose, you must call up the link www.google.de/settings/ads from your utilised Internet browser and make the required settings there.

In accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, you agreed to this through our opt-in cookie banner.

In accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, you agreed to this through our opt-in cookie banner. You can find further information and the valid data protection regulations of Google at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

9. Plugins and other services

9.1 Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager, a cookie-less domain that does not collect personal information.

Through this tool, "website tags" (i.e. keywords that are embedded in HTML elements) can be implemented and managed through an interface. By using Google Tag Manager, we can automatically track which button, link or personalized image you have actively clicked on and can then record which contents of our website are of particular interest to you.

The tool also triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If you have disabled it at the domain or cookie level, it will remain disabled for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. These processing operations will only take place if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR.

In accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, you agreed to this through our opt-in cookie banner.

9.2 Google WebFonts

Our website uses so-called web fonts for the uniform display of fonts, which are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

To do this, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website.

In accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, you agreed to this through our opt-in cookie banner.

Google Ireland Limited, based in Ireland, is certified under the us European Privacy Shield Convention, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

These processing operations are only carried out if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Google Ireland Limited, with its registered office in Ireland, is certified for the us European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. 9.3 Jetpack für WordPress

On this website we have integrated Jetpack. Jetpack is a WordPress-Plug-In, which offers additional functions to the operator of a website based on WordPress. Among other things, Jetpack allows us to create an overview of the visitors to the site. By displaying related articles and publications or the possibility to share content on the site, it is also possible to increase the number of visitors. Furthermore, security functions are integrated into Jetpack. Jetpack also optimizes and accelerates the loading of the images integrated on the website. The operating company of the Jetpack plug-in for WordPress is Automattic Inc, 132 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The operating company uses the tracking technology of Quantcast Inc. 201 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA.

Jetpack sets a cookie on your IT system. Each time you access one of the individual pages of this website and on which a Jetpack component has been integrated, the Internet browser on your IT system is automatically prompted by the respective Jetpack component to transmit data to Automattic for analysis purposes. As part of this technical process, Automattic obtains knowledge of data which is used to create an overview of visits to the website. This data is evaluated with the aim of optimising our website. The data collected via the Jetpack component will not be used to identify you without your prior express consent. The data will also be passed on to Quantcast. Quantcast uses the data for the same purposes as Automattic.

You can prevent the setting of cookies by Jetpack and our website at any time by means of an appropriate setting in your internet browser. In addition, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to object to and prevent the collection of data generated by the Jetpack cookie and relating to the use of this website and the processing of such data by Automattic/Quantcast. To do so, you must press the opt-out button under the link https://www.quantcast.com/opt-out/, which sets an opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie set with the objection is stored on your IT system. If the cookies on your system are deleted after an objection, you must call up the link again and set a new opt-out cookie.

With the setting of the opt-out cookie, however, it is possible that our Internet pages will no longer be fully usable for you.

These processing operations are only carried out if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 letter a GDPR.

In accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, you agreed to this through our opt-in cookie banner.

YouTube permits the publication of all types of videos which is the reason why complete films and television programmes, but also music videos, trailers or videos produced by users themselves can be downloaded from the portal.

The company operating YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

Whenever you call up one of the individual pages of this website which is operated by us and on which a YouTube component (YouTube plug-in) has been integrated, the Internet browser in your IT system is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component of YouTube. You can find further information relating to YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de. During this technical process YouTube and Google are informed what specific subpage of our website you are visiting.

If the data subject is also logged into YouTube, YouTube recognises with the visit to a subpage containing a YouTube plug-in what specific subpage of our website you are visiting. This information is collected by YouTube and Google, and is assigned to your YouTube account.

The YouTube component always informs YouTube and Google that you have visited our website if you are also logged into YouTube at the time of access to our website; this takes place irrespective of whether or not you click on a YouTube video. If you do not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, you can prevent it by logging out of your YouTube account prior to visiting our website.

In accordance with Article 6 (1) lit. a of the GDPR, you agreed to this through our opt-in cookie banner.
