specifications. The collaboration of four SDO\u2019s (Standards Development Organizations) \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldcommgroup.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fieldcomm Group<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/opcfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ODVA<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.odva.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OPC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.profibus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PI<\/a> &#8211; facilitates one common form of physical layer testing so any upper layer protocol may be implemented on the conformant physical layer.
