Embedded World 2026: Single Pair Ethernet driving industrial communication

Embedded World 2026 in Nuremberg was a great success for us and once again proved to be an important platform for innovation, exchange, and collaboration. Together with the SPE Industrial Partner Network under the motto “The Perfect Pair”, we demonstrated how dynamically the ecosystem around Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) continues to grow and how relevant the technology already is for industrial communication and modern connectivity solutions today. With around 32,000 visitors and 1,188 exhibitors, Embedded World 2026 provided the ideal international setting for this.

At our booth, visitors had the opportunity to explore Single Pair Ethernet in direct exchange with our experts and learn more about concrete applications, current developments, and the future of modern network technologies. A particular focus of many discussions was the new international connector face according to IEC 63171-7 – a significant milestone for greater standardization, interoperability, and planning reliability in industrial SPE applications. The strong interest and the high quality of the conversations made it clear that SPE is becoming increasingly important for industrial networks, Industrial Ethernet, and future-ready communication infrastructures.
