*¹ Regardless of the admission date, the admission fee is payable in full according to the selected membership status. The membership year and the annual membership fee is understood to be from 01st of Jan – 31st of Dec. In the first year of membership, the full membership fee is payable if the SPE System Alliance is joined by 30th of Jun of a year. If the membership takes place in the period from 01st of Jul to 31st of Dec of a year, 50% of the membership fee is to be paid for the first year of membership.
*² The membership as a starting member is limited to a maximum of one year (limited to the year of joining) and must be converted to membership as a “full member” or “full member PLUS” by January 1st of the following year. Otherwise, the membership ends on January 1st of the following year.
The change between the membership statuses is possible at any time. In case of a change to a higher status, i.e. from “starting member” to “full member” or to “full member PLUS” or from “full member” to “full member PLUS”, the full membership fee of the new higher status has to be paid in case the change of status takes place until 30th of Jun of a year. A set-off against the annual membership fee already paid will be made. If the change of status takes place in the period from 01st of Jul to 31st of Dec of a year, an additional 50% of the membership fee of the newly higher level must be paid in addition to the membership fee already paid for the year.
If the change to a higher status takes place within the first membership year, the difference in the admission fee between the statuses must be paid in arrears. If a change to a lower status is made, no refund will be made.
If a change to a lower status is made, there will be no refund of annual membership fees for the current membership year. Only in the following membership year will the membership fee also be adjusted to the new status.
